About

I grew up in Miami, Florida, went to college at Stanford University, and graduated with a medical degree (MD) from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

I completed my psychiatry residency training at Harvard Medical School’s Cambridge Health Alliance, where I worked with a wide variety of patients for both medication management and psychotherapy.

After residency, I worked as a psychiatrist for Teladoc Health and for Harvard University, treating students, faculty, and staff.

I have a special interest in areas related to race, immigration, and acculturative stress; I have worked in healthcare settings in multiple countries in Asia, Africa, and South America, and I completed an MPH with a specialization in global health at Harvard.

On a more personal level, having grown up in an immigrant family, I am attuned to some of the unique challenges facing minority populations in the US. Given these experiences, I highly value providing culturally competent care.
